I'm 18 now and I have never been to a gyn before. I really want to, as for years I've have had irregular periods, and now after 14 days of taking The Pill, I feel too sensitive during intercourse so I just want to get that checked out as well as have a regular gyn check up.. pap smears.. whatever they do to you.
The problem is that when I was 15 (and I was worried baout my crazy period back then too) I asked my mom if I could go to a gyn for it and she said "only people who have sex go to see them". I know this isn't true (as apparently you're suppose to go once oyu start your period now), but after telling her that, she still didn't take me. I really want to go, but I am afraid of her finding out I am sexually active. How should I ask her about letting me go to the Gyn?

No matter how professional she tried to be on Larry King tonite, the bottom line is she reneged on an agreement and jumped the gun by doing interviews and trying to gain sympathy...I mean, this show made her a household name...has your opinion of her changed since the interview tonite?

...you go to bed late. I know that you are suppose to get at least 8 hours of sleep but lets say u go to bed at 2 in the morning and wake up 8to 10 hours later. Is it still effective like it would be if you went to bed at 9 or 10? If u r confused about my question feel free to contact me. Thanx!
