Contact Salvatoin Army in your area. I work for them in California. We help people with PGE (electric/gas) bills here, there is probably some sort of program there that assists as well. They will probably also know (if they don't do it themselves), who offers rental help in your area. http://www.salvationarmy-georgia.org/Corps_Albany.cfm This one seems to be closest to you. It says they do rent and utility assistance. Good luck.

In TX you can request government help on these matters (welfare), you can apply for workman's comp (job related injury) or you can go to the Workforce Commission & get unemployement....sometimes the electricity bill has a notice on the back, that if you can't afford the payment, you might meet the criteriea for smaller payments or only partical payments....as far as the landlord--beg. If you were here (in TX) you could just move to the beach...

community resources, catholic charities, salvation army, contact ministries, township office, AARP, local churches. Probably none of them will pay the total but I would check into all of them and ask for assistance. ask for food vouchers too, and maybe you can buy less food for the month with their help. then you'll have more money to put toward your rent. i live in illinois. when i got behind on my electric bill, i got help from the county and local churches. also apply for subsidized housing through section 8 at your housing authority. maybe your landlord will accept section 8. you don't have to live in a hi-rise to qualify. you can live anywhere that it is accepted for rent. your rent will be so much lower. I am on disability, my rent is $745.00, and i only have to pay $183.00 toward it each month.

Best Wishes with getting out of the Debt. There is little so disempowering than owing someone money and feeling there is no way forward. I suggest that - as a first step - you write a letter to debtors and explain your scenario and then make reasonable arrangements for payments. and stick to them. Honesty goes a far way...

That's a lot to owe your landlord! Churches in your area will probably help. Also talk to people in Social Services at the county. You could probably find help there.

I live in Mississippi and our utility companies offer programs for people who are lower income. If you recieve state aid (food stamps, TANF, Medicaid), the companies offer help. Talk to the companies direct to see if a program is offered in your area. As far as rent, having a heart to heart with your land lord may help, otherwise check with churches and the salvation army.

organizations such as salvation army tend to help people on a one time basis with their electric, water etc. bills. You must qualify. Other local organizations in your area may also be willing to help you out. Good luck.

once you're extremely fearful about it i think you would possibly want to spray Lysol on it. i'd propose that you try washing them contained in the washer. in view that they gained't wreck aside or smear, it could be a good thanks to be sure they were genuinely sparkling. (Plus, i'm certain your little ones would get slightly suspicious of lysol-smelling money) you could also deposit you income a community monetary company. Then pass, say the subsequent week, to an ATM gadget the position you receives sparkling, sparkling expenditures.
