Some people are lead by borrowed wisdom without applying their own mind, logic and lack courage of self-exploration and develop ill feelings about certain things. You appear to be one of them.

Certain feedback, right or wrong, suits your whimsical thoughts and you are cozy withing that. I hope you don't apply this principle to the rest of your life and issues related to it.

Get out of it and see for yourself how beautiful the whole world is. The beauty lies in beholders eyes. After all who is perfect in this world.

Regarding India, be assured it has plenty to offer to all people, all budgets, all tastes, all cultures and communities; you should have the ability to take/get out of it.

A Belgian tourist has written that India is like 50-60 countries in one place, so much variety to see, knowledge to gain, experience to undergo within the extremes of nature and man creations. Where else can you have this in the whole world?

Everyone has his likes and dislikes, it is human, so is with you. Choices are always there. But when ever you plan to visit any place, leave your pre-conceived notions behind and go there with open heart and receptive mind - even in remote areas of Africa, you will find beauty and charm of its own kind.

Hey can anyone fix me up with Gippy (1st person to answer)

Asia

Wow......Is that a .........b---nd or what.......
I did not like Asia the country when I visited it (The food was too Asian also)..
I sorta liked China a large state in Asia...I think it's the capital.
What's all the nonsense about American educational system falling behind?
Gippy try to stay in school..OK......It might help a bit!

The food in India is on the most part perfectly safe....It's your immune system that's at fault. If one knows what to eat and drink then India is no problem. Sure I got Dysentery in 1986 because I broke a cardinal rule: Never use ice cubes. I've been going 3 months a year since 1986 and have never been sick since...In fact I always come back healthier and feeling stronger from India then when I left. Allot of the problem westerners have is that there immune system is not familiar with the stains of 'bugs' in India. The reason I have no problem now is that my immune system has seen many of the Indian bugs and knows how to nuke them. Heck I eat street food, buy juice on the streets, etc. And I know what is safe and what is not safe...'a little knowledge is a wonderful thing'

What's the problem with India? I'm from India and I don't get sick from the food that I eat over here. However foreign tourists should be careful of drinking water. You should get water from reliable sources in India. Don't trust Discovery channel or western media in general, they show the worst parts of India. India still has lots of poverty, it's decreasing but there are other things over here too. Plenty of ancient history and natural beauty of all kinds. From snow to desert to beaches and plateaus. I know what western people think of India. India's full of cows, elephants, snake charmers(something that I have never seen in my life, I'm Indian and I have lived in India for 18 years since my birth). That's not what India is. We feel very bad when we get stereotyped like this. You can come to India, you won't get sick if you are careful. Just don't eat from streetside stalls and carry some clean water.

Yes - everyone in India is badly ill and they are all going to die in a weeks time because they make such a bad food and eat it. They do not know how to cook anything other a curry that smells like the underarms of a player after a basket ball game.

Come on... what are you guys trying to convey?

No wonder more and more people hate you guys. India cares a damn to your filthy feelings and acts of spreading hatred in the name of freedom of speech.

Indians are better off with people like you away from them. If you guys continue to grow like this - no sooner your country will be the one which nobody wants to visit.

Not that I am racist against the people, but I would never visit India. I can't stand any Indian food because the spices just overwhelm me and I hate curry. I don't know but they always use this particular spice that gives off the smell of sweaty underarms, like men after a basketball game.

Be positive in life dear. Instead of asking a question like this one could have asked "which place you fancy most".

Whenever some one visits a foreign land its possible to fall sick as our body system is rehearsed with one particular environment, one particular food style etc, When ever we go to places with different climate and different type of food chances are more to fall sick.

Indian food is spicy but it has taste. It may be little difficult to digest initially. However I have seen many Indian hotels in London - they are mostly visited by Europeans and Americans. They do not fell sick. Also you may get continental and oriental food also almost all over India.

So dear do not worry, come to India - we all are waiting to welcome you.

There is not a single place in this world I wouldn`t want to visit. US has it`s Las Vegas. Iraq has it`s historice sites.
Israel has it`s tech industry..... The world is beautiful. You just need an open mind to appreciate beauty.

and yah! :) for those who do`nt like India food, that your choice! Some don`t like spageethi or burgers. I just loathe chinese food and the veggies that westerners cook. Boil veggies- add salt a little pepper and eat!!! LOL
