Why do cats have the same look on their face whether they see a moth or ax murderer in the house?

...and do you ever feel that they 'allow' you to live there..even though you pay all the bills and bring home the cat food so they turn their nose up at it? ...I'm waiting for mine to steal my check and go to Pet Mart for new cat toys while I'm away at work...I don't trust him...or should I?

I was taught that there are 4 states of matter solids,liquids,gases, and sometimes plasma.Ever heard of that?

Just wondering if this was ever taught to anyone else? I have asked several professors who never heard such a thing. Is it false knowledge?

Why are Canada & US so similar?

During my recent visits to Canada and the US I could find so much striking similarities between the 2 countries...for example the slogans of police depts in both the countries being - To server & protect, similar people (Canadians being more docile), similar accents (atleast in Ontaria, Canada), similar laws (atleast the day-to-day ones), similar infrastructures etc etc.

Why is it that both these countries are so similar?

Can betta's get velvet?

Mine looks like it has velvet, it's belly has gone a white-ish colour, and is swolen as well.

(for those of you who do not know what velvet is, it's a disease that oscars get)

Why his birthday stopped coming?

Long time ago,there was a man in Rome who had a very gud story to tell. He used to say that a few years back my birthday used to come every year then it started coming with a break of few years between two and finally, unfortunately, it just stopped coming?So, what was the date of his birth also why they just stopped coming. I want to move out of my home - can i get any financial help to rent or buy?

Im 19, and due to personality differences with my dad and mum im finidng it difficult to stay at home. It's affecting me really badly and my work is starting to suffer. Im only on an average of about 8.5K-9K a year so I can't really afford my own place. Is there any way i can get help? I'm really not into renting a room as im a private person.
