Everyone's bad mouthing mexicans but?

I dont hear you complaining about mexicans fighting along side your brothers in iraq getting killed and maimed so you can have oil for your SUV

i know what you mean.

i hate when people say something rude about mexicans.. or any minority for that.

but the mexicans have been getting it pretty bad lately. they just want better lives. who can argue with that? i know i wouldnt want to live in a place where you cant drink your own running water.

ladiB812 Did you ever think maybe they brought it on themselves when they protested in April and flew the MEXICAN flag above the Stars and Stripes? When they butchered our National Anthem? When they call us 'racists' because we want our laws enforced? Maybe they asked for the contempt we are giving them!!

To answer the question, I don't think very many people in the USA are against anyone of any Nationality fighting in Iraq alongside our brave men and women as long as they give their allegience to the United States of America. With the contempt the protesters show for the USA it makes a person wonder if those in Iraq that are from Mexico might have the same contempt for our soldiers and not be there to shoot Iraqi's but maybe to shoot OUR guys. How can we trust them? It makes us a little suspicious.

What do SUV's have to do with Mexicans fighting in the war? Seems to me that you have a chip on your shoulder. By the way, the war hasn't made oil any cheaper in case you haven't noticed. Also, who is it that's bad mouthing the Mexicans?

True, 45%+ of the men and women fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan are indeed Mexicans. I think they should start to boycot the military as well, and Iraq would be lost.

for all u "non-racists" LOL. people on this board have directly/indirectly bashed Mexicans in general w/o referring to their legal status. Many of the men/women in Iraq r indeed black & mexicans. and FYI, yes some of them sign up for the Army, Navy,etc. to get residency or citizenship. they r allowed to sign up and they r granted legalization when they do so and they fight 4 this country alongside American citizens everyday. people r quick to look 4 something to hate when everything else in their lives r going wrong. The Mexican population unfortunately is the target this time, its a shame.

For everyone who says, the illegals only "want better lives", well, so does a burglar when he enters your home and takes your stuff. He can sell your stuff to make himself "a better life". Thieves rob stores to make themselves "a better life"...
That doesn't make it okay. If you break a law, you're a criminal. And that's what illegals are no matter what country they come from. It's not just about "mexicans".
I don't know why some people can't comprehend this.

Nobody is bad mouthing Mexicans. People are angery at illegal entery into our soverin country. I am gratefull for all of our troops who are fighting for us no matter where they came from.

I am mad as hell at the law breakers invading our country illegaly.

Stop intentenally misreprisenting the argument and useing race to sway opinion. It is a sign of a week argument and if you were smarter you would be able to argue with out useing the race card.

I'm not bad mouthing Mexicans. I am against theives who illegally enter our country, steal our services we subsidize so they no longer adequately provide for our own people, and create a substantial increase in crime.

The legal Mexicans here I like. Don't confuse the two.

Those are either american citizens or residents. Illegal mexicans are not in the armed forces. Why can't you goody two shoes ever learn to differentiate between legal and illegals? You claim americans discrminate against immigrants but that is not true. We welcome legal immigrants, and not the illegals.
