Because for the most part we're doing well economically- the country as a whole I mean. (not me) Many Americans are egotistical enough to think that means we're better then everyone else. If we're better then everyone else, then we know what is best for them.

My mother is like that- but at a much smaller scale.

Economic success isn't everything. Many countries don't have our resources. They have famines, starvation, poor conditions for growing food, civil war, volcanoes that erupt, floods, all kinds of disasters. That doesn't make them less then we are- not culturally or religiously. Just unfortunate. A truly superior nation would not bully nations who are unfortunate- but would encourage them through supportive programs.

according to me culture is a way a society behaves and acts in a particular region.
so this is some thing that cannot be stolen or takenaway by someone.
further this thing should not be forced on some one
that depends on the values a particular country teaches an individual where by others will get inspired by our culture and will adapt to it.

Trust me, if you're an American, this answer won't please you. Christians and Americans want to wipe out all other religions. They hate the popularity of other religions and cultures. They think that they deserve to be supreme, they are the greatest. This kind of attitude makes them try to force everyone to imbibe their culture. They lie about the so-called 'advantages' of American and Christian ways of life and cheat people into adopting their culture. This method, I'm sorry to say, is gaining success.

Which culture are you talking about? I don't think there is such a thing as an "American Culture" but if you were to define a culture as such it would be filled with greed for resources and land that aren't your own.

Manifest Destiny apparently wasn't enough from sea to shining sea. Instead we're jumping from continent to shining continent.

We are not pushing it, but we are offering it to those that want it. Democracy is a good thing, while tyranny isnt, wouldnt you agree? Whats ur poison? Socialism? Communism? Living under an Islamic Regime? You name it, and Democracy is better. But we dont force it, we use influence instead. It will always be their choice in the end.

One of few answers:
One: Fear -- culture can be overrun by other cultures
Two: Pompousness: We are the best
Three: Power: Power corrupts and it blinds ones reasoning ability.

No matter how much we justify our acts in the media as we being God's chosen ones to bring peace to the world.....
But the outcome of pompous injustice is simply downfall. You lose goodwill, you lose friends....
