Or, life is about overcoming obstacles? Obstacles in childhood, adolescents, young adulthood and adulthood? Navigating through an unforgiving, cold world? Isn't this really what life is? You can be positive and do all you can to make your journey through this life more pleasant, but aren't we all just overcoming obstacles only to have something else get in our way?

Oh, and please do not give me a religious answer, I am a christian but, I want an answer that reflects your personal opinions on my statement. Thanks

The house wants to vote to kick them all out and build a wall. The senate wants to vote to make them all citizens. Even if you feel strongly about one side over the other, what if you learned that either possiblity was impossible to achieve? What is another way to solve the problem?

I had been dating a guy for 4 weeks. He cancelled our plans for the third time Friday. I told him I was not happy about that, and then he blew me off the rest of the weekend. He called me last night and apologized for not calling sooner. He said he got scared, and he didn't know what exactly he was scared of. He said he didn't know if it was fear of commitment, of taking things to the next level, or of letting himself have feelings for someone. He asked that we just be friends until he can figure things out. I asked him if he would want to try to be with me agian once he gets through this and he said yes, he would, but he doesn't want me to wait for him. He seemed really sincere in his answers, and so, I don't know what to think. I'm wondering if this was his way of breaking up with me without causing too many hard feelings, or if he really is just scared. What's your take on this?
