God acquits us from the Courtroom of Eternal Justice on the grounds that Jesus Christ paid our fine. We are "justified" (made right with God) by His suffering death. The resurrection of Jesus Christ was God's seal of approval of the fact that His precious blood was sufficient to pay the fine.
Think of it this way... You have violated the law and face a $50,000 fine. You tell the judge that you are truly sorry for your crime, but he answers, "So you should be -- you have broken the law! Now, can you pay this fine?" He can only acquit you if the fine is paid. If someone else pays your fine, then he can let you go, but he must have "grounds" on which to release you.

The reason we need a substitute (a savior) to pay our moral "fine," is because we have broken God's Law. I have had to learn in life that I am not going to like everyone and in all fainess not everyone is going to like me.

One of my close relatives is getting married and I want her to enjoy this season in her life. I am going to be the matron of honor.

However the mother is stressing out over the shower that we are giving and being a pain to deal with. When she calls me everything is about the shower this and the shower that and who is coming and there is no room for other discussion.

The LAST thing I would ever want to do is yell at her, be mean to her, be sharp with her, tell her off, be curt or rude to her, because she is senstive.

But in all fairness I know to respect my elders which I do, but this person is really working my nerves, she constantly needs things repeated after I tell her over and over slowly and clearly.

Any GODLY suggestions?

The person I am referring to is my sister getting married and the person I am having a time with is my mom.

This is a question to those who are religious, non-religious, or to those who just don't care. If you think about all the religions, they're pretty much the same, each telling you how to live your life and consequences/benefits of doing certain things. Each also has some sort of high spirtual leader/lord/etc that one praises. Well, the question is, what if there is one true religion. I mean, if you tell someone something, they tend to mess it up a little, so what if that happened with religion. What if long, long, LONG! ago, there was a true god, or a group of gods, and everyone did have to do certain things to get to them. And over the years, everyone has just been adding and taking away what they think people should do, because of power, or whatever. Or, a religion could've just evolved depending on culture, and modern (in those days) societies. Well, this isn't really a question, I guess I wanted comments/answers.

and you could get the girl pregnant that you dont want to spend your life with...or could get a disease or something....and im thinking..yeah ok....but WHERE THE HELL IS YOUR COMMON SENSE!!....why do you label everyone who has sex before marriage wrong and that we are stupid for doing so because of all the diseases around and the possibility of being pregnant....what about the people who are smart and take precautions...like...hmm.. wearing a condom or doing a health check for instance...hey wow...what a concept..people are out there that do that....for instance...me!! i dont have sex with one night stands...or anyone that ive just met...but if the relationship goes for a while then yes...and whats to say that that bad stuff wont happen when your married...you get a disease the first freaking night you two are intimate...wow..then what...your sitting there with HIV or AIDS or something like that...im not dogging people for their belief....and yes i am voicing my opinion when im asking

Why do guys hit on me at the gym even though I wear my wedding ring all the time. I just go there to work out and it just interrupting my routine. I even go there with my husband once in a while. he is a big buff guy and when I'm around him these same guys leave me alone. It just sucks. Sometimes it's just down right creepy. This one dude even followed my car to my house one day. It's a crowded gym and there plenty of single women looking to hook up there. I don't have a lot of time since I work fulltime but I try to workout everyday. But these guys are wasting my time and theirs, as I have no intention of straying from my marriage.

My children have been in foster care since January of this year and they are coming home on June 30th. Well they come to me and literally smell of urine. Their nails are long and the white parts are literally black. Yesterday I gave them a bath and I knew my bath tub was clean before I put them in. When they got out it was brown. My daughter who is 3 has started wetting her pants for no reason and she is fully potty trained, has been for awhile. My son who is 5 has to wear a diaper to bed and they never did this before. Any suggestions, only serious answers I don't need pricks making smart remarks.

Damn it, I'm upset! The Spurs should have beat the Mavericks like they usually do all the time! That's no excuse for my team this year. NO EXCUSE! They took the Mavericks lightly and then tried to play catch up...you can't do that in the NBA playoffs. I think Tim Duncan is going to cause wreck, I mean WRECK in the paint next year. He might even play better than he did when he came in the first 3 or 4 years he was in. I will be the first cheering him on when I hear Tim Duncan after each point he scores over the intercom in the arena. He's going to be in a zone in next year's playoffs. He's a future Hall Of Famer, and I know he ain't just going to lay down and die! I hope he wins each year in his career until he retires, I hope he catches up with Bill Russell. I hope Kevin Garnett joins the Spurs, I won't feel sorry for none of these other teams when Garnett and Duncan are on the floor together. Like Mr. T. used to say.."I pity the fool!" Because I pity the fool that will challenge em'!

OMG I hate it when people give me stupid answers!!!! I recently asked a question about getting slimmer arms. I said I really want thin arms like celebrities like lindsay lohan or nicole richie. But then these two stupid (b#*$@es) are like ewwwwwwwww why would u want to look like that! Its my life and I could do whaat ever I want! Too many highly educated people migrate to USA, with the hope of getting a job intheir fields, but most end up doing odd jobs. I am an architect by profession who migrated to the USA about four years ago, and can still not find a job in my field, cant sit for my liscense as I was told that I do not have American experienceand need to do an internship, despite my Masters and proof of a final year PhD.
