what a great idea! i think this should be mandatory actually. get people to really think about their relationship every four years. and you know what else, getting a marriage license a second time should be hard, a third time harder, etc. i had to get a divorce to get my marriage license revoked - how much better to just go through this process. in my current marriage i think i would renew it, but who knows about my spouse.

Is there a fee involved? Four years is a rather short term contract. I would renew about 5 times then pass.
