Damn it, I'm upset! The Spurs should have beat the Mavericks like they usually do all the time! That's no excuse for my team this year. NO EXCUSE! They took the Mavericks lightly and then tried to play catch up...you can't do that in the NBA playoffs. I think Tim Duncan is going to cause wreck, I mean WRECK in the paint next year. He might even play better than he did when he came in the first 3 or 4 years he was in. I will be the first cheering him on when I hear Tim Duncan after each point he scores over the intercom in the arena. He's going to be in a zone in next year's playoffs. He's a future Hall Of Famer, and I know he ain't just going to lay down and die! I hope he wins each year in his career until he retires, I hope he catches up with Bill Russell. I hope Kevin Garnett joins the Spurs, I won't feel sorry for none of these other teams when Garnett and Duncan are on the floor together. Like Mr. T. used to say.."I pity the fool!" Because I pity the fool that will challenge em'!

I'm a Mavs fan. And I see the Spurs very competitive next year. But both the Mavs and the Spurs had better watch out for Phoenix.

It will be a fast game in the West. The Spurs will have the biggest adjustment to make within the elite group.

The 'ninety 9 Spurs would desire to triumph over the 'ninety 8 Bulls yet no longer the different 5 Championship Bulls communities. '03 would come on the brink of the 'ninety 8 Bulls, yet no longer beat any of the different 5. All of MJ's Bulls communities would beat the '05 and '07 Spurs

No offense but u gotta admit their prime is over its all downhill from here. Duncan is old (again im just telling the truth not insulting NE1 I think he's amazing but he's getting old and worn out) and Ginobili is having ankle problems (and aging) and as you age your bones get weak so his bones ain't gonna heal that fast n their gonna break easier. Ne ways all I'm saying is that, that whole team (the starter) has at least 10 years experience and after that you get worse. so its not looking good for them. And seeing as how they have no young ppl their pretty much done for..... sorry

Nope, they're getting too old. KG can't join the Spurs, they have no contract space. TD is getting slower every year. Whatever person they call their starting center isn't gonna get better. Bruce Bowen can't be as good at defense as he was last year. And their top two bench players Van Exel and Finley are getting REALLY OLD!!!

yeah, tim is gotta come back. It wouldn't be surprising at all. And I agree everything you are saying. KG with Tim will be the best 1 2 punch in the league.

sure they could come back with the help of solid free agents and maybe some luck in the draft.
