What is the Newest Casino in Las Vegas? Did anyone else see the movie "Oceans 13"? If a said casino really exists I would make a trip to Vegas just for that. I'm in Los Angeles right now. But for reals, what is the newest Casino there and how nice, how grand is it?

I really love the History of Las Vegas, is there anyone on this site that stayed at the old casinos like The Dunes, The Sands, Landmark, The Mint. How was the experience there? How long ago was it? Did you get to see some of the old performers like Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, etc. Was vegas really alot different back then.

I will be staying at either The Riviera or Circus Circus when I go to Las Vegas in November. Can I walk to Palace Station from the strip. How far is it? Also, is Palace Station a decent place or is it a dump. Been to Vegas a few times so I want to check this place out.

I will be planning a trip to Las Vegas with my daughter in the near future. My daughter is really into Horseback riding. Has anyone been to the indoor equestian center at the South Coast or South Point Casino. How did you like it. Can you tell me some things about it. Do they have shows? How many horses did you see & so on. Can you ride while your there? Thanks

how much does it cost per night at circus circus hotel in las vegas? I know if you are playing at the tables in the casinos the girls come up and take drink orders and the drinks are free but you have to tip good.. My question is- if you are sitting at the slots will the people still come up to take drink orders and will those drinks be free???

My grandma and I, and two of my aunts, are going to Vegas over Labor Day weekend. I am looking for the best, cheapest airline (direct flight if possible but I think most have one stop) to get there. Any ideas? Also I need ideas for a good hotel to stay at that is under $100 a night. I'd prefer to only have one room for us 4, just 2 beds or something. I'd like it close to the strip as well, as we are seeing Celine's show there and my grandma can't walk very far. Also how should we get around while we're there, are their taxis or something, or will we have to rent a car? Thanks for your ideas/info!

Friends and I are going back and forth about this; some don't mind telling the hotel & paying for 5 people, some want to save $ and reserve room for 2. We're planning on staying in a 5-star hotel; does each person who goes up in the elevator need a room key or can a few person go with one who has a key? How strict are they? I don't care if they find out and charge us extra per person but I do care if we all get kicked out. Some in my group want to see if we can get away with reserving for 2 people. Comments to help us make a decision are appreciated.

Taking a solo trip to Vegas in August and planning on staying at 3 different hotels during my stay. I know sounds crazy but I love the vegas hotels and couldn't pass up some great experiences at hotels i haven't stayed at yet. My question is: is it worth paying for a taxi from the Aladdin to Cesar's Palace? This is my 4th trip to vegas but have never had to deal with a taxi. I will be switching hotels so I would have my mid sized rolling luggage bag with me. Should i walk (i know they are not too far from each other) with my luggage or take a cab. And how much would it cost. Trying to find the most cost effective way of doing the switch.

My wife and I will be going to Vegas after I get back from Iraq in Septmeber. We have booked Hooters because it is cheap and location. We have been to Vegas twice before, but always stayed at the MGM which we loved. I have been to Hooters casino, but haven't seen the rooms. Should we stay with our Hooters booking or just splurge and spend more to stay somewhere new like Paris, Monte Carlo, or New York New York?? We want a fun pool scene with decent accomidation. I'm traveling to Las Vegas in two weeks and can get my flight for about $100 cheaper if I fly into Las Vegas at 8am, which wouldn't be a problem with me (more time for fun!). My question is will the hotel hold my luggage until check-in time? Is there a fee to hold the bags or do I just go up to the check-in desk and tell them my situation? If anyone could let me know or give me any other helpful hints or things not to miss in Vegas, I'd appreciate it... First timer here! Thanks!
