I will be staying at either The Riviera or Circus Circus when I go to Las Vegas in November. Can I walk to Palace Station from the strip. How far is it? Also, is Palace Station a decent place or is it a dump. Been to Vegas a few times so I want to check this place out.

Palace Station is across a major freeway from the strip, and there is a railroad overpass to walk over, like a big hill. Not very pedestrian friendly! Circus Circus is the closest to the palace station. Palace Station is a very popular locals casino, it is older, but I would not call it a dump. I would say that it is only 2.5 miles from casino to casino, i wouldn't walk it! The intersection by Palace station ranks number one in accidents year after year, too!

The palace station is on the west side of the highway on sahara. from the circus circus to palace station, it's a walk, I would advise a taxi. Unless you are the walking type. walking it may take you about 30 to 45 minutes?
