Bermuda shorts and heels or dressy sandals is probably a good bet. Most likely not daisy dukes. Wish I could come too!

I work for a magazine and i am currently sitting in my office slacking off wearing:

"city shorts" those knee length things in a classy brown suit-style plaid.

a yellow slightly trendy short sleeved cotton knit top

metallic bronze heels

yellow bracelet.

nice thing about vegas is that we don't pretend its not 115 degrees out there. we're a little more relaxed when it comes to dressing professional in the heat. I find that its best to find a happy medium between classic and current trend and throw on a pair of earings or a bracelet and some nice heels. If you outfit looks complete and well put together, it ads a little bit of its own sophistication to make up for the face that you're really just in short and a tee. also most places don't care about the closed toe rule either as long as its not something overly strappy.

City Shorts (the almost knee length ones) that are NOT denim, paired with a nice shirt and real shoes - no sandals or flip flops or sneakers.

Otherwise, I'd go with khakis or casual skirts.

Clean and pressed. Good leather shoes w/ comfortable soles. Good safe bag to keep your bottles of water and valuables in.
Shorts very good, depending upon meetings purpose. Not @ meeting clean and pressed, and anything you want to put on your body to protect you from police enforcement.
