I know if you are playing at the tables in the casinos the girls come up and take drink orders and the drinks are free but you have to tip good.. My question is- if you are sitting at the slots will the people still come up to take drink orders and will those drinks be free???

Yes they are, but if you don't tip the waitress decently, it will be the only free drink you will get while on the slot machines. The gals don't bring free drinks to you for exercise, they do it for tip $$.

Here is my tactic. You know that 2 drinks will probably cost you around $10... So, when the first free drink shows up, tip the lady $10. She will bring you drinks all night until you have to beat her off with a stick as she looks for your next fat tip.

Yes drinks are free at the tables and at the slots.

Yes you need to tip and if you tip bigger they will come back sooner.

Also, if you like to play video poker most of the casinos have video poker machines at one of the bars. As long as you're playing the bartender will keep your glass full.

The casinos want you to drink and be happy because the more you drink the more likely you are to lose your money in their casino.

We usually order water, yes they really serve bottled water for free too. That must be why we usually bring home as much money as we take with us.

Have fun and play sober!

Absolutely FREE! All you have to do is sit at a machine and you can get a FREE drink. You will want to tip at least $1. Sometimes I do it when I'm not even playing... lol

Oh my God - i feel like a big ***!

I went to vegas last year and got free drinks and didn't tip the lady, i just didn't think - we don't tip in Australia. I think i was still in shock that you got free drinks in australia you only get soft drink in our casinos.

I will no for next time! which is soon! - So excited to go back - and tip the waiters this time!

Best bang for the alcoholic buck?

Nickle slots....5 cents to play and free drinks, the better you tip the waitress the more she will come back.

Oh, yeah.

I'd sit at the nickel slots in Ceasar's Palace and just plug away nickels all night long and get complimentary drinks all night long.

Works that way in any casino.

All drinks (unless you go to the bar yourself) on the casino floor are free - but be sure to tip. They are "free" really.

i've been to casinos in vegas and atlantic city and yes you do get free beverages if you're sitting in front of the one arm bandits. on the other hand, i've been to couple casinos in pennsylvania where you have to pay for adult beverages(even when your playing slots), but receive complimentary soft drinks.

Yes, just tip them a dollar per drink. (If you're on a winning streak, tip them a little more.) I also find that by being nice and tipping a little better on my first round ($2 instead of $1) gets me faster repeat service.
