What is the best site to get good discounts on a hotel room for a weekend in Vegas??? Plus does anyone recommend a hotel/casino?

I am visiting the USA next year and want to see the Grand Canyon. Is Las Vagas the nearest airport? Any idea what it cost to fly over the Canyon?

Dos anyone know the long term plans for Lone Mountain--will it be the next 'Summerlin'? We are looking to move out there and are torn between the 2. We can get a bit more for our money in LM, but Summerlin is established. Basically, will LM turn out to be a poor-planned city with tons of renters and no infrastructure or will it turn out to be as nice as Summerlin?

Hi, I'm going to Las Vegas 29th Oct. Should I book shows such as Stomp, Bite, or Blue Man Group in advance or will I be able to book them when I get there - do they book up quickly? (I'm staying a Planet Hollywood so will I get priority for Stomp?)

We are looking for suggestions on which hotel in the Las Vegas downtown is the nicest. After staying twice on the strip we are looking for a change, yet I fear I have standards a little high. I am not caught up in pretentiousness, just neat, clean and comfortable. Also would consider input on convenience of the rooms in regards to access to the strip. Not so concerned about the casino associated with a hotel. Also - any other downtown advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

The main reason why there are so many people always trying to illegally cheat the casinos out of money is becuse their machines are just a few percents too tight. I believe the human psychology of someone playing of being determined to break the law at gaming or not and how they feel in general after playing for the day makes a huge difference if the machines are either paying back 92% or 97%.

If they would just keep all of their machines(including the quarter machines, 50-cent machines as well as all the higher denomination machines) AT LEAST 96% or 97% while keeping a few of them at 99%, then I think that will make a world of difference.

(Just keep the 5 cent and 1 cent machines tight, keep the quarter machines and on up all AT LEAST 97%.)



Where can I write to them telling them this very helpful suggestion? I've played them for 5 straight years so I know what I'm talking about.

Guess what, I'm not enticed. That stupid crap doesn't work on me. I've played for 5 years within my means never letting it go overboard and since it hasn't happened for me yet, I never expect to hit on any one visit like the casinos want me to think I will.

All these idiot casino employees and cocktail waitresses keep telling me that tonight could be my night and the waitresses say "Good Luck." before I say "Whatever." in my reply to them. I only keep playing because I know my likeihood of hitting keeps growing the longer I play and still not hit. I know it will happen if I keep at it, but never expect it on any one session.


At least at those strip clubs I sometimes go to, at least there unlike those casinos, I'm getting my money's worth.
