Guess what, I'm not enticed. That stupid crap doesn't work on me. I've played for 5 years within my means never letting it go overboard and since it hasn't happened for me yet, I never expect to hit on any one visit like the casinos want me to think I will.
All these idiot casino employees and cocktail waitresses keep telling me that tonight could be my night and the waitresses say "Good Luck." before I say "Whatever." in my reply to them. I only keep playing because I know my likeihood of hitting keeps growing the longer I play and still not hit. I know it will happen if I keep at it, but never expect it on any one session.
At least at those strip clubs I sometimes go to, at least there unlike those casinos, I'm getting my money's worth.

I used to go to Vegas 3 or 4 times a year but in the past 5 to 7 years they have really tightened up the slots (i don't care what the gambling commission says about them not doing that) and as a consequence hit/wins of even $400 to $600 are very rare. Not only am I not winning but I do not see anyone else winning. Then on top of that they have jacked up the prices of everything else. I remember when you could go to Vegas and if you didn't win at least you could eat cheaply and get a reasonably priced hotel room on the strip. So after our last trip there this past June , when they wanted to charge a fee to use a pool that I had been using at the hotel for free, I said, "that's it, I will not go to Vegas any more for several years" I decided that I can go on a cruise for what I was spending in Vegas and have a better time and see some different things.
There are some greedy people running Vegas these days, worse than when the mob had it!!

If they got you inside, it worked! You were enticed to check them out. Of course it works on you and everyone else too. If a waitress says "good luck" to me I say "thank you". If a dealer says "better luck to you", I cash out quick! "Whatever". As you say... Call me superstitious. Strip clubs are fun, but you definitely lose your money there!

Don't expect to hit big bucks playing 1 credit at a time on a penny machine.
