I live here. & That person who said always warm has NO idea what they are talking about!!!!! Last Jan we didn't get above 43 durring the day. The whole month of Jan my horses water froze at night. It gets very windy!!! Very chilly in Jan!!!!

Yes, that first person who answered first is DRUNK already. It is the desert, HOT in summer, COLD in winter. The average temp for Las Vegas in winter is i think 50's daytime and barely above freezing at night. But, bring layers as you never know, it could also be 70 when you get there so you wouldnt want to be stuck in sweaters. Although, you can find lots of tshirt shops for cheap, 10/$10 kind of thing in case that happens. Viva Las Vegas, i'll be back for my second trip this year in December.

Average temperature. High 58 degrees F, Low 39 degrees F. Just plan for the temperature being in the low 50's in the day and dropping to 40 degrees at night. That's cold!

im a local and in january, its pretty chilly especially in early jan.
in my opinion, that like the coldest time of the year her
not much rain, and i hope we get snow beacause it snowed like 2 years ago, for like 2 consecutive years.
but its not as cold as like chicago.
feels like in the low 40s

cold last year
got the flu
was out of commission for several days
ex east coast person
but for traveller hope not the same
sweat shirts and no coat
but was real sick for 20 days
