Location CAN be as much on the outskirts of Boston as possible, if that drives the price down. Some prices I've been considering are as low as $100. Hoping to find even lower. Could also consider a short drive by car to a subway station, then riding into downtown from there...

We are staying in Salem and traveling into Boston for a day to go to Cheers and to attend a Red Sox Game. Anyone live in either of these areas? How is the weather usually this time of year? What do you think about Salem? Any tips you could pass along about anything is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i just made plans with an ex-boyfriend that at the end of this school year (our senior year), we're just gonna drive away from Boston... like, to cali or something. we're already saving up for it. i have close to $600 in the bank, with another paycheck coming soon. and then i start working at my old gym 3 days a week. and i'll probably still get another job too. and he has a job. i think he's serious about this. i'm not sure if i am, but it sounds good right now. seriously, if i stay here; in this town, i don't see anything in my future. so when we get out to wherever we're going, we'll spend all summer there. and at the end of summer we're gonna see if we even WANT to come back or not... what happens if we don't wanna come back? what if i move to cali right out of high school? do you think i'd be making a huge mistake if i did that? just, leave and not know if i'm gonna be coming back or not.

I've lived in the North Shore all my life but I still know so little about Boston. We need to schedule a meeting with her birth family and we always do it in Boston because it is a center-point for all of us. We need to think of cost because her birth mother is struggling financially and we don't want to pay high admission fees for her and her other three kids. We've been to the Frog Pond a few times and that is getting old. The kids range from 10 to 20 plus (also I have a 2 year old).
