What does "for muan interest" mean?
Boston is the largest (and most well known) city in New England, but New England doesn't have a capital per se. New England consists of 6 states: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Boston is the capital of Massachusetts.

Boston is the captial of Massachusetts, and it's basically the biggest, practically the only big, city in New England, but it's not officially the "capital" of New England, because it doesn't have one. New England is an area, not an official state or anything.
