I'm just curious - we "Yanks" think the best part is the commercials (a lot of us anyway). This "Yank" has ancestors in the UK - including good old pious King Henry VIII - too bad he didn't marry the girl! LOL!!! My "mum" was a genealogist and traced it back to the Magna Carta as well (two signers), so I guess I can say that my family has been bourgeousie rabble rousers since 1215! Anyone for tennis? ;)

To anybody out there travelling to the UK, from the UK or with literary interests/experience. I've written all the articles on the following website http://www.itraveluk.co.uk . Please have a look and let me know what you think of my work. Constructive criticism deeply appreciated. Thanks

Is the tube faster or slower than driving? How long does it take to ride the tube from the closest station to the base into the financial district in London?

I am currently paying the obscene amount of £96.50 per week for my London Travel card, and wondered if there was a better way to do it.

I work freelance though, so I never know when I'll be in London and therefore cannot take advantage of a monthly / annual travel card.

I missed travelling to Scotland some years ago and now my boyfriend (who left Scotland when he was 2) and I would like to do some travelling and include it on the itinerary. Could any residents or past travellers to this area of the world advise what we must see/ must try and must do? Also any don't bothers?
