Just returned from a fabulous weekend HB 2 nights at the Thorpe Park Hotel (4*) just on the edge of Leeds (near the M1).
Loads of good things to visit in and around Leeds.

Very comfortable well appointed room with ensuite, T&C making, widescreen tv, Bose radio etc.
First class restaurant with great staff and a chef who knows how
to cook, not just re-heat pre-prepared food and make it look pretty on the plate.
Poor selection of beer (mostly lager or 'smooth flow' bitter, yuk) but wines and spirits good.

Gym, beauty salon, massage studio, swimming pool all on site.

The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are always interested in the customers as people. Unlike the big chains Hilton, Marriott et al.

Don't know about special offers but you could try Springs in Leicestershire - they do have offers on quite often and I have enjoyed the 2 visits I have made there
