I know I need a passoport and clothes, but are there any other important items I will need while there?

If you are taking a rechargeable item...digital camera, cam corder etc, get a power adapter from best buys or circuit city here. They use 220 and the plugs are different.

If you are getting cash while you are there, go directly to the ATM machine - not a bank. The rates will be much better.

the things about the plugs is true, they're different there. i dont tink u need a voltage adapter as long as its small, i use my own straightener and recharge the digital camera and my phone while im there with the plug adaptor. but bigger appliances need the voltage thing. dont think u'll have need for one. and dont bother buying the expensive ones from bestbuy or anything. the tourism place in dublin off dame street sells them there for like 6 euro. get something like that! the water is fine! its not mexico, there is no parasite!! but if ur weary best thing wouldbe to stick to the bottles. bring lots of things u can layer cos thats the best way to stay warm. big chunky sweaters and jackets will have u warm outside, then sweating inside, then freezing when ur outside again!! LOL so dont worry about that kind of thing! have funn!!!

A plug adaptor for electrical appliances, some pounds Sterling, a thick jacket (it's freezing over here at the moment).
And guys over here love an American accent - don't hide it!

don't try to talk in a fake brititsh accent in UK. you may tick some people off. if you already have one, its hott. faking its not good.
