The persons name
House number or name foillowed by street
District or suburb name (if applicable)
Town or city
County (not necessary for major cities)
Postcode
For example...
Mr N E Body
123 High Street
Upton
Harrogate
North Yorkshire
HG3 5TY
United Kingdom
or
Miss N E One
321 Main Street
Wood Green
London
NW12 4RT
United Kingdom
The postcode is important - it's like a zip code and narrows the address down to just one of a few addresses.

I would write both Allerton and Bradford in the City space. It doesn't really matter anyway, because when it gets to Bradford they will obviously know where it is to be delivered. The postcode contains all the information except the street address. If you just wrote the street address and the postal code and UK, it would get there.

Actually you can use a very simplified form of the address just the name of the recipient, the house number or name, the post code, and the country name eg:
John Smith
37
CF14 8JH
United Kingdom.
It will actually get there.

Just like the US except on the last line put ENGLAND. The post office will help you on this.
