I have a good friend in England that wants me to move there. I would love to, however, I have two chihuahuas and a cat. The quarintine time for animals is 3 months. Why so long. My animals are probably cleaner and more germ free than some of the people that will be on the plane.

I'm 19 and in London for school. I'm looking for the back-woods, hole in the wall, secret handshake type places to have a good time and to just see the real of London. I'm not much of a drinker or a sex-addict but I do enjoy going to pubs. Anything is open even exhibits at museums. My budget isn't exstensive but if anyone had any suggestions on where to go, where I'd be able to mingle with Londoners, not other Americans, or tourists would be fantastic!

I would first invade the UK - right off the bat, no questions asked. Our country's a superpower and no other country stands a chance against it.

I would then make our country's economy stronger by providings jobs to average Americans.

What are they and where are they exactly?

o Need any safe, clean hostels or homestays around West London or North London
o Or organisations who focus on single mums or children with disabilities and could have a host family paritcipate in heklping out for a few weeks
o Need to be near the rail

I am originally from London, I grew up in West Hampstead. I am now living in the U.S. with my wife and we are planning on re-locating back to London next year. We are looking to find somewhere to live. We want to live in a nice, safe neighbourhood, ideally not a million miles away from Central London. However, we are also looking to find something we can afford. Personally I have a liking for West London (Maida Vale, Holland Park) but that's realistically out of our budget. Does anyone have any good suggestions... Thank you!

My husband and I are traveling to London next month. (We will have a rental car with us.) What are some nice places to visit or see? We are looking for trendy, upscale places to visit. Money really isn't an issue. We want to avoid anything that's too touristy, especially anywhere that cheap, white trash Americans will be at.
