I live in central london, my accent is known as "received pronunciation", you know, the accents the news reporters have on the BBC, not so much posh, just a neutral accent.

There isn't really a West End London accent. You can either have:
-"posh" accent (like the queen)
-neutral, received pronunciation accent (like the BBC news reporters)
-somewhat posh accent with some twang
-cockney slang accent (watch eastenders)
-the "ghetto" london accent (like ali g)

London is a highly multicutural city and so accents will vary greatly.

There isn't one, really. There is an East End accent, rough Saarf London accent - Perhaps you mean a "posh" accent? What is known in England as "speaking the Queens' English". You can be properly tutored in this - or watch "My Fair Lady" !
