I will be moving to the UK soon, and I want to get a cell phone while I'm there (about a year). Should I purchase a tri-band phone here in the US and bring it there, which will probably cost me $200, or will I get better deals there? Cause what I heard was the minutes they give in the UK may not be enough if you sign a contract. Has anyone had any experience using a cell phone that way?

Looking to spend around £100 on my bf for his bday. Not on Cd's, or the usual football stuff, it has to be something quite unique or a day trip or something fun to do in the glasgow area. He enjoys doing romantic things like boat trips etc and he got me a helicopter trip for my bday so i have to get him something that doesn't look cheap. I also dnt wanna do the clieche stuff like meals etc any ideas would be much appreciated

Does anyone know a good location in southern England or wales where I can camp out for a weekend?
I don't want a campsite, just somewhere I can put up a tent, light a fire, put on some music and relax away from people and without going on some farmers land, somewhere pretty easily accessible (not at the top of a mountain etc). We live in Bath but are prepared to travel a bit.

I have wanted to live in England since 7th grade (now I am in 12th grade) (meaning I'm 17 for those in countries without America's "Grade" system. What do I need to live there. I'm sure I can't just fly over there and buy a house? Do I need any special liscenses and do I have to become a citizen? Could I be a dual citizen for america and england?
