Well bring a ipod or a MP3 player. or go to sleep right when you get in the car, or bring a magazine and focus on that. Also you can bring ear plugs and act like your listening but your really not. Sit in the back seat. Bring someone else so you can focus on the attention on them. Agree on everything she says so she can shut up more quickly?! lol good luck youll figure out somthing, mums are a stressss lol

Listen to your ipod. Read a book/magazine/newspaper/comic. Do some crosswords/puzzles, sing, whistle, hum, text all the way, phone your friends/family & chat for the duration, sleep, knit, do your make up, eat & drink, watch a film on portable dvd player (bring your earphones), watch tv on handheld tv.

Thats all I can think of for now.

i used to be this way too because my mom and I have trouble getting along sometimes due to age difference and beliefs. but when my mom and I travel together, I take some of my most annoying music or funniest comedy CD's and we just laugh at everything. Annoying music is fun to listen to with your mom and make fun of it. enjoy spending time with your mom

a book, a notepad, headphones, a gaming device, a book of logic problems (crosswords, fill-ins... whatever you like), the a-z game (find objects in alphabetical order on the drive) kiddie - but amusing, do an interview - you'd be amazed at what your mom did when she was younger (at least i was!), you're really only as limited at your imagination and i guess mine is kind of limited right now, sorry.

Rent a Book on Tape or CD, from your local library. It helps so you don't have to talk the whole time . good luck.

Bring your own music or read a book. You could also sit in the backseat and fall asleep.
