I have been checking the prices of various modes of travel. It looks like taking the Eurostar through the Chunnel will cost just over $100 per person as will taking a ferry across. I am guessing that flying would cost the same or more. Please! Does anyone have cost efficient ways to do this?!?! Thank you very much!

I want to go away mid-May. Any reccommendations would be great. I quite fancied Ocean Village Cruises, but they seem quite expensive! We want to spend about £300 per person. I'll be going with my fiance. We are 25yrs old. We like culture rather than clubbing and like going to restaurants......Thanks for your help.

I just found www.PrimeViste.com/indexfir.htm (Prime Viste Firenze - First Views Florence) and it gave me a great cafe suggestion (cafe Guibbe Rosse) but they are new - looking for more firsthand insights into the city. Any site suggestions?

My passport went through the washing machine.

It is completely intact, but is obviously wrinkled. It also has several threads coming out along the edges. It is a newer one with a digital photo (no electronic chip though). All of the information is legible. You can still see the eagle and United States of America watermark/seal.

Thank you!

Isn't the point of travel to experience new things and places? I have seen this from every nationality, but it always throws me a bit that people are annoyed at having to deal with differences rather than enjoying them. Do you think that they ever have a good time on holiday?

Have you run into people or friends like this? I have friend who are disappointed everywhere they go, I think that they may have complained their way around the globe by now....I find it rather funny. Share your stories :)

Looking for somewhere kinda cheap say £300, nice and sunny with nice little boutiques and resteraunts, but has fun activities like rowing etc. Not personally into lying on a beach for a week too boring. Basically nowhere dull. Any ideas? Ive never booked a holiday before myself. I will be travelling with my boyfriend. Oh and nothing clubby.
