Been around most part of the Philippines only :
1. Bohol - Visayas
Here you can visit the Chocolate Hills, the very clean and green Loboc River where you can also see the smallest monkey in the world called Tarsiers, the Hagdanan Cave and the still prestine beaches in Panglao Island.
2. Camiguin Island - Mindanao
Here you can see the Sunken Cemetery, the white island (seen only during morning and submerged in the afternoon) the way of the cross, a hot spring, the church ruins from volcanic erruption and plantation of lanzones (a very delicious tropical fruti in the Philippines) and other features. You can go around the island in one day time only.
3. Cebu - Visayas
Here you can visit the Taoist Temple, it is overlooking the entire city of Cebu, Mactan Island where Magellan was killed, the Cebu Plantation Bay where the 2007 Asean Summit was held. You can also witness the Sinulog Festival held every January of the year.
4. Baguio City - Luzon
This is the capital city of the Philippines. Most tourists go there during the celebration of the Panagbenga (flower festival) or during summer because of the cool weather. You can visit the Mines View Park, the Burnham Park, Lourdes Grotto, the Mansion House (summer vacation house of the Philippine President), witness the daily military drill at the Philippine Military Academy, go under the Crystal Cave. And there lots of tourists places there where you can inquire with the Baguio Folks who are so hospitable and honest too.

76 countries and 4 circles of the globe, where do you want to go to.
China is very interesting since it was closed for so long, been there four times, my best China trip was following the Silk Road to the Pakistan border and crossing China from east to west by train and bus, doing it alone as an independent. Another trip was as the only non Chinese on a boat going up the Yangtze for eight days and nights from Shanghai to Chongqing(old Chang-King) before the 'Big Dam' was built
Of all the South American countries I enjoyed Southern Chile most for its beauty and the sophistication of the people.
Africa also offered a good variety but to me the best was Namibia, so unspoiled with such variable topography and scenery, wild animals and tribal people and zero ripoffs or scams.
Another favorite destination is the Philippine Islands, there are 7,020 islands but not all inhabited. I scuba dive and snorkel and must rate some of the PI dive spots to be the best in the world. I call the PI 'My Sand Box'
I'll give you a bonus #5. I have crisscrossed India riding their trains on four trips. Very rewarding and most educational, such nice passive people.
