I'm looking for a cruise type trip on the west coast on a windjammer type ship. It doesn't need to be on Windjammer itself, but my dude has his heart set on a big ship with all those giant sails. He's older, so I don't want him swabbing decks or anything, but I'm NOT going with him.I KNOW I have no sea legs, I'm staying home with the pets. So, I'd love some guidance on this one please. all-inclusive would be brilliant, but not essential; 3 days; 5 days; Mexico, oregon, i don't really care, he just want to go on the big ship.;all ideas welcome! Ideas? Thank you kindly!!!

I have a criminal record (drink driving) and I want to go to USA. I understand I have to apply for a special visa but what are the chances of being caught if I do not. Do the USA have access to police databases here? The offence was 15 years ago and doesn't even show on my driving licence or car insurance in this country any more. The process for applying for a visa can take ages and I'm going in 5 months.

do you have any tips for getting over a fear of flying in airplanes? I have to get on a plane is about a month, and as always, i'm terrified. do you know things that can possibly take my mind off the plane when i'm on it? the scariest part is takeoff, because i'm afraid that the plane will crash and blow up. yah, i have a vivid imagination!! my whole family htinks i'm crazy, because they're not afraid. but i get hysterical, and i can't eat or sit still in a plane, i'm constantly worrying!!! any tips??

I'm a UK citizen and going to central America for 5 weeks. In order to get there I will need to change flights in the states to get there. When I change flights I will need to go through immigration to continue onto Central America. After the 5 weeks there i will be coming to the states to stay for just under 90 days. Does anyone know if us immigration will take the date of when i transfered flights as the date of entry into the states or the date that I actually start my stay in the states? I hope this makes sence!! Thanks

I have a lot of favorite countries.They are Korea,Malaysia,Singapore,Italy and Australia.

Korea-Asia(been there before,thats why)
Malaysia-Asia(my country of birth but i am not a malay)
Singapore-Asia(now living here)
Italy-Europe(for the landmarks,places,people and food)
Australia-Australia(for the landmarks,places,people and food)

I am from Malaysia but live in Singapore,an island in Asia.Don't think it is only an island(Singapore) but the facilities here are superb!

Please include your favorite country(s) and the continent.And tell me about why you like it.And include whether it experience the 4 seasons and where you are from(including the continent).

When I visit my hostfamilies, I always think what I should bring... I think I've already given most of the tyipical Japanese souvenirs like foliding fans, tops, postcards, calendars, kokeshi dolls, Japanese fabrics, things printed Mt. Fuji, origami (paper foldings) etc.
so what should I bring next time?

its a 12G barbell thats 5/8 of an inch long and has relatively small balls on the ends (that are pretty much impossible to take off...believe me, ive tried to switch the metal barbell for acrylic but i cant get it off)
