If you are finding a place for travel, therer are a variety of places at this time of the year. If you have a high budget, I would definitely suggest the Arabian Towers Hotel in Dubai, UAE. It is the only seven star hotel in the world. I have been their for a week, and it is amazing. Basically, you get a whole island to explore, and countless activities to enjoy. The service, presentation, and everything else is amazing. There are a variety of dining experiences in the area, that all provide excellent food. Also, a water park is close to the hotel, where you could enjoy the hot Dubai weather. My favorite activity their is one that isn't really rare, sand boarding. For about $20, you can ski around the sand dunes for about half an hour. However, it is hard to book, and has a killer price.
If you aren't planning to spend that much, a visit to Hawaii won't be that expensive, and nice at this time of the year. Basically, enjoy the beach and native culture for a few days. Relaxing, and great time. I would say stay at Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki. I have been to Hawaii once, and this is where I stayed. There is everything you could ask for. Even a golf course and tennis court. Also, if you have a child, (12 and under) they could use all the facilities, and eat for free. 200 a night.
