Palanga (Lithuania, Europe) - clean and soft sand, great water and everything is very cheap.

South Beach (FL) isn't that great (Lauderdale is more fun). Bondi sucks (Manley is far better). Some great un-named beaches on various islands in Belize. Ka'anapali (Maui) is the best I've been to - so far. Might add a Tahiti beach to the list at Xmas & in 2008 I'm off to Brazil & Ipanema might be added to the list.

Itanos Beach!
It is south of Vai beach, East Crete!
Blue, clean, clear and safe sea and sky!
Remote enough to enjoy Nature, Close to "civilized" towns and cities, full of gentle, friendly, happy and hospitable people!
Fresh, biologically grown fruits and vegetables, historic sites, ....
About 2 hours drive, east of Heraclion!
