I am a caucasian and I have done some extensive travel. When I was in India the men would stare at me, not just a glance but an obvious stare and sometimes I would have about 6 men standing in front of me staring. Now I'm no beauty queen and I'm no spring chicken and I know that I am not the only one that has experienced this. I just want a very honest answer to this question. What are you Indian men thinking about when you stare so hard at foreign women visiting your country. If there is someone else besides an Indian who has an answer to this question then please feel free.

I do not have a degree,I have travel & tourism qualification also Alevel English.I have worked within business travel and have passport/visa experience. I would love to work for an adventure travel company or something similar that would perhaps also involve travelling abroad. I am bored in an office and need to get into work that I am interested in, my passion is travel. I know most of these types of companies require staff to be well travelled, I am going to Costa Rica for an adventure holiday in October; other than that I have not travelled much, the usual -USA, Europe, have not travelled extensively. Are there any companies that take on less experienced staff and provide training etc? Any other job suggestions also welcome. I need to have some excitement/variation in my working life!I am very bored in my current job!

I know how much a passport costs, but how much does it cost if you have the passport agency take it for you? Would it be cheaper to go to the UPS Store?

I feel so helpless, my daughter and her boyfriend are on a cruise and she called me last night in tears saying that she can't stop feeling dizzy from the motion of the boat. Her boyfriend went out and got her some bracelet that they sell on the ships for motion sickness, does anyone know if those bracelets help? I know there is also a patch you can get but the ship doesn't have those. I just feel so bad, because I want her to have a good time. So, basically my question is does anyone know if these bracelets for sea sickness really help?

Phonetics experts have backed up dairy farmers' claims that cows moo with regional accents.

Dairy farmers in Somerset noticed a local twang to the sounds made by their animals, reports the Guardian.

John Wells, Professor of Phonetics at the University of London, said: "This phenomena is well attested in birds. You find distinct chirping accents in the same species around the country.

"This could also be true of cows. In small populations such as herds you would encounter identifiable dialectical variations which are most affected by the immediate peer group."

The phenomenon was noticed by members of the West Country Farmhouse Cheesemakers group, who put it down to the close bond between farmer and cow.

The group has also noted similar accent shifts in Midlands, Essex, Norfolk and Lancashire moos.

Farmer Lloyd Green of Glastonbury said: "I spend a lot of time with my ones and they definitely moo with a Somerset drawl."
