I have not been in Turkey, but I have been very close, passed by boat, going from Rhodes to Kos! Also, I have flown over several times!

Spent some time in southern Turkey (near Fethiye) a few years ago, going round old amphitheatres and other interesting ruins.
Am practising to improve my Turkish and hope to get back some time.
