ok...so I know I know...the decision is ultimately up to me, but I'm really debating whether I should go to South Africa or Malaysia for 4 months. I've asked a couple questions, researched and found a lot of great stuff about both, so without telling me to just make up my mind, does anyone have any "arguements" for which one I should chose? I can be about anything from culture, to scenery, to price, to people....anything that you think would help me make a good decision! Thanks so much!!

I would love to go to France or Japan - both places are really unique and authentic. I would also LOVE to go to the rainforest - it's been a lifelong goal of mine.

Where would you like to go the most, and why?

I was just thinking that I usually have the best chance of meeting the opposite sex when I travel. I mean it has gotten so difficult here in the west to meet people because of our insular lifestyles.
What do you think? Where and how do you meet people?

I'm somewhere in western Washington state, in a cottage tucked away in the woods. A pond is nearby. It's forty chilly degrees outside, and the rain falls. Night has come. The crackling of the fireplace and the pattering of the raindrops are my lone companions.

I'm perched in my old chair and hunched over my laptop, in pajamas and socks. I'm a freelance writer, you see, so I'm working. But what better place to work ... in a cabin, in the woods, in Washington state?

If you could be doing anything at this moment, what would it be? And where?

I have the money (almost) to buy a beach house almost anywhere in the world. I have been thinking of New Zealand because it is still unspoiled and gorgeous and there is skiing too, but a friend told me Bali is great (I haven't been there). I want somewhere with a mix of action if I want it, but quiet enough to have a community feel. Serious suggestions please.
