is there a cream on the market in the UK you can buy to protect yourself from the sun and mossies, im going to the Dom Rep in may and dont want to burn or be bit!

there are a few on the market but i don't bother with them. if you use Riemann P20 sun cream you will come back with a lovely tan. you apply it about an hour before you go out into the sun and it will last you all day. for the insect problem try any of the Avon Skin-so-Soft products. they are not advertised as a repellent but they are absolutely brilliant. use the dry body oil in the evening to help moisturise you skin. its not greasy. i used it day and night when i was in the Dom Rep and never got bitten once. i forgot to use it on the last day and got bitten at the airport. have a bril time.

I think you would be better of buying something like this
Soltan Aftersun Lotion with Insect Repellent from boots
because mossies only bite when the sun has gone down so dont think you will need it in sun cream.

i went to dom rep twice last year,it is a fab place to go i love i. if ya have time get some avon fresh and clean (think that is the name of it) it use 2b called woodland fresh, it is well gud, un the mossies hate it, i never got bit, get a high factor around 50, im olive skin un burnt like mad have lots of fun bab xxxx

Remember the skin is a means to your internal organs and blood. Both sun screen and inseticides are full of many chemical which are poision. Would you ingest these same chemicals by drinking them,,, if not then do not put them on your skin.
If you do not care to receive the above information then find a liquid inseticide and mix it with the sun screen.

Yes there is - Avon do one I remember seeing it in their catalogue.
Hope you can locate - if you're trying to get from a chemists you may need to go to a biggish one as the smaller don't tend to stock at this time of year.
