Everywhere you go, you will encounter danger. The streets of Los Angeles are dangerous, but it's bullets and knives and AIDs you're on the lookout for. Brazil is another story. Yes, it is very dangerous there. There are lots of poisonous creatures, lots of diseases...some airborne and lots of places in the jungle where tribes inhabit that do not play well with others. If you wish to explore the jungle, just make sure you go prepared and with a mild understanding of the culture and dialect. Have a guide and a book that describes every poinsonous insect known to the area so you can point out the picture to a doctor in the event you are infected...also, make sure you know where the nearest hospital is and if they are able to treat such afflictions.
