Hey all,

I'm an 18 year old girl from Canada and in less than a week (my flight leaves next Saturday morning- the 17th) I'll be going to China on my own for 5 months. I took a year off to work (finally saved up enough, thank god :P) and do this before Uni next fall.

Now I've done all my paperwork and just need to pack and book my first nights accomodation in Hong Kong. The thing is I'm starting to get nervous about it. It's finally sinking in that I'll be on my own on the other side of the world and I've never even really travelled before 0_0

It's funny cause for months I've been the one super excited and busy reassuring my parents and friends that I'll be fine and how great a time I'll have, and now that the time's finally come to leave...I'm the one getting all freaked out and no one really gets it.

Agh, someone please reassure me!

No S intended! I am inviting enquiries from people who would like to join a 36 yacht sailing from US to Ireland in 2007 and possibly to the Med in 2008. You can join for the whole voyage or just for each stage. No experience nessesary, just a willingness to muck in. You will be expected to contribute to living expenses which is estimated at £70/$150 per week and pay for your own travelling expenses to and from yacht. Full trip expected to take 14+ weeks. Minimum 1 week except atlantic crossing (3-4 weeks)

Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I want to go away this summer, for a week in early June. We've been looking at Albufeira, but some people have told us it's too much like Benidorm and really tacky, whereas others loved it, so we're a bit confused!

Just to give you an idea of what we want:
1. Hot weather (around 27 degrees C maybe)
2. Good beaches
3. Good nightlife and restaurants
4. At least SOME opportunity to see the sights of a more authentic Portugal, away from the resort
5. Activities and day trips, like zoo, tours, theme park, etc
6. Busy but not absolutely rammed
7. Not full of 'rowdy, bald-headed, beer-bellied, trouble-making
English tourists' (that's my boyfriend's input....)

So we just wondered if anyone has been there and if it sounds like a) the right destination for us and b) if we're going at the right time of year (in terms of weather and how busy it is)

Thanks so much! :-) xx Emmie

In all your travels was there ever one specific place that made you take notice with the sheer amount of good looking women that were around? Was there ever a place you've been to where it was obvious and noticable that the local women were far better looking than average?

Please read...?
Every summer I take a few trips to Helena MT, to have fun and visit family, but, recently, I have encountered a problem. There are no reasonable First class flights from Billings MT to Helena MT. BY reasonable, I mean Time efficient. The last time my travel agent found a flight, it went to Texas, and then back, with WAY to may layovers. I know that Helena is a 4 hour drive, but I hate road trips and will not fly economy (so Big Sky air lines is out of the Question) Are there any airlines that have a none-stop First Class flights to Helena that you have heard of? I used to be able to go through Salt Lake. Do you know of any good places to rent a private jet? (other than Edwards)

If, for example, the pictures you submitted didn't meet the requirements?

My passport still hasn't arrived and they have cashed my check but nothing shows up when I check the status online. Just wondering if the fact that they cashed the check means it's on the way or if maybe there might be a problem with one of my pictures or something.
