I'm 18
and ive always wanted to just get out of my little town and discover other countries
i'm really interested in goin to america for an extended holiday
for about the minimum of 1 month
maybe stay on longer if i like it.
Even though i know its going to cost alot of money
i wanted advice on the cheaper options available
To be honest i dont really want it to be a holiday
i just want to experience the lifestyle.
If i do stay for only a month im guessing it wud be easier and cheaper to find somewhere to stay.
but if i decide to stay for slightly longer what are my options?

I would love to go somewhere like LA but from reading some things on here it doesnt really seem like the right place for me to go on my own. is there anywhere quieter than LA but still have the qualities.
I dont want to go somewhere that isnt going to give me the expericance i want.
How can i get started with my plans?
How much do you think i'll need in total in £'s.

any advice would be great thanks

When traveling, your hotel room is a big factor in how satisfied you’ll be with your trip. The right hotel can add to your vacation while the wrong hotel can make the entire experience a nightmare. But when you’re on a budget, you might have to settle for a less-than-perfect hotel room. What are you willing to put up with when choosing a budget hotel and what is unacceptable?

I am a computer specialist. I have four years of education from a state university and I make about fifty thousand dollars a year in North Dakota. If I moved to Hawaii (Note* I am unmarried and have no children), would I be able to afford it? I know it costs loads to live there, but I am willing to live in a one-bedroom unfurnished apartment, seriously, just to get out of this frozen tundra of a hell-hole. My loans from college will be about 700 dollars a month. Will I survive on the money by the end of each month? I could really use some advice, automatic ten points to the one who can help the most.

If I make purchases (perfumes/jewelry so on) in Europe and mail these purchases back to the states, can I avoid additional taxes by doing so? Will mailing items back to the states prevent me from paying duty free taxes?

They don't just pop; it feels like a headache in each ear, and everything I hear is muffled for a while. I can feel the aftereffects for about 10 minutes later. Is this normal?

laterly i've been thinking how cool it would be to just buy a ticket to someplace like australia, or england, and just fly there and see what happens. but it would be for an unknown time and everything. have you or anybody you know ever done this? if so, does it work? or just what what was your or their experience like?

My job is changing, so I will be traveling 10 hours a day. Sometimes me and my coworker will not be near anyplace to get ac power, and be out in the country areas. I wondered if they made tiny microwaves and tiny refrigerators that plug into a standard car outlet for like camping, so we can still take our lunches to work.
