My job is changing, so I will be traveling 10 hours a day. Sometimes me and my coworker will not be near anyplace to get ac power, and be out in the country areas. I wondered if they made tiny microwaves and tiny refrigerators that plug into a standard car outlet for like camping, so we can still take our lunches to work.

They make little car-charger powered iceboxes. Look at Wal-Mart near where they keep ice chests. They can keep a few beverages cool while you travel. I believe they can also be set to keep warm food warm.

As far as microwave ovens... I'm not so sure. I can tell you that the big truck stops/travel centers have shops where you can buy hot dog cookers, toasters and other appliances that truckers use in the cabs of their trucks on long-hauls.

There are some travel appliances which work on the traditional cigarette lighter outlets. However, I have found over the years that a power inverter which is hardwired into the car and provides a couple of AC outlets works better and allows you to use your appliances from the house or inexpensive ones from a store like Walmart. Power inverters are available in most auto supply stores and auto supply sections of department stores.

If you want Auto plug appluiances, you can get them online or pick them up at large truck stops.
