We are going to Provence and the French Riveria at the beginning of April. We want to stay in some hotels or B&Bs with a little character/local flavour. We are planning on spending about 100 Euro a night.

We'll be in Marseille the night we fly in and NIce the night we fly out. We don't mind where the other hotels are -- just looking for picturesque places to visit. Thank you!

We're going to be spending 2 days in Prague this spring and there is SO much to do there. Does anyone have a list of "MUST SEE" things? Or of interesting places to stay while we're there?

Is it the freedom that comes with youth, by having no career?
I feel left out now.
I think maybe "adults" have set themselves up by the time they are 30 with a "Rat Trap"(house) and a marriage partner. That is nice, but for the free spirits out there who dont do that, we are looked upon as "rubbish" by others as we get older , still wanting to travel cheaply by staying in hostels and by our wish to travel more than anything.
IT is ashame that it is this way, i guess. I would rather live with my parents and stay unmarried before I give up my freedom to travel!

I am out of my 20's now. I really dont mind youth hostels, except that now there seems that many people are very young to me. I like the cheapness of them, and also it is nice to meet people . I think it is nicer to be able to save that money for more time traveling. and I dont care about staying in my hotel anyway.
It is really the only affordable way for me to travel for a long time in Europe (especially Western).
But it does seem like I am outgrowing people that stay there.
Asia and third world countries I can afford to travel a long time and stay in nice hotel rooms and you many are still kind of run like youth hostels. (One of the really nice things to traveling in places like Southeast Asia)
So what is your opinion about how old is too old to stay in youth hostels?
I get kind of the feeling that some of them dont want somebody older staying there now.

Please only answer if you actually LIVE in kosovo cos I want first hand reports. I have read all the media reports..

I visited Kosovo for a week a few years ago and the situation for Serbs wasn't good.
I just want to know if things have changed.

Is it possible for a Serb to have a norm life there. Can they move about freely now? Are there any (many) Serbs who can live amongst Albanians?
When Kosovo becomes independent will it be possible for Serbs to live there as ordinary citizens? What about discrimination?
Do you think Serbs will be able to participate in public life and not live in englaves?
What is average Albainians opinion of their (Kosovo) Serb neighbours? Will independence help reconcilation?

Puna Hvala i faleminderit :)

why do europeans like to blames america for all the problems of the world? is it because they are socialists who just hate free market capitalism or what? not just the iraq war, but every problem on earth they blame america on instead of letting others assume their own responsibility for it. the only *international* war that america *started* is the 2nd iraq war, yet every calls them THE warmonger.
