Yes, I like my vacations to be a part of the culture,history and historic architecture, food etc. Just lying on a beach is not my thing.

If accomodation was cheap and clean here, I would holiday here more often....

My kids have travelled around the world but have never been to Wales or Scotland etc

Sad heh, I think I am going to have to do something about that

Much nicer weather, greater variety of food, friendlier locals.....so yes. Greek Islands by the way.

Better weather, and just to try out a different culture, food etc.

Also there are far more relaxed and ENJOY life.

Just somewhere else to go.
