Arrange your flight from Kyiv, it will be much cheaper. Several airlines fly into Simferopol, but most will be operated by Aeroflot or Ukrainian International.

Flight costs vary, just like in the US. Check online at: http://www.flyuia.com/eng/

The train to Simferopol will cost you about $50-100, depending on if you want a private sleeper or not. It takes about 12-14 hours from Kyiv... a bit less if you take an "express".

Geographically, Kiev rests at the heart of Europe and is a completely various earth but now you can it better if you begin from with hotelbye . Kiev may be the capital of Ukraine and is the most wonderful town of all of the post soviet countries. It is just a city of all you least expect. Kiev is an ancient town where old matches new and east meets west. One of many points you can see in Kiev could be the St. Cyrill's Monastery. That monastery was entirely off-the-beaten track. That little church is as old as time, relationship back to 12th century. Paintings of the popular Mikhail Vrubel get you right into a different world. And the fact that the Monastery is from the main tourist internet sites in Kyiv will make the knowledge a lot more humbling and inspirational.

Here's a timetable for flights arriving in Simferopol: http://www.airport.crimea.ua/rds/prib_en.htm.

As far as how much it costs, contact the airlines or a travel agent who specializes in the area.
