We're going to be spending 2 days in Prague this spring and there is SO much to do there. Does anyone have a list of "MUST SEE" things? Or of interesting places to stay while we're there?

(P.S. I know two days is too short to spend there - but with our schedule, there's not much choice... better to have 2 days than none at all, right?! We've got 2 weeks to spend in Europe and lots of people/places to visit - going to Prague is sort of the icing on the cake!)

When in Prague if you want to save money don't eat or drink in Prague 1 (center) take metro 4-5 stops to any direction and make price 1/3 they still have quality restaurants most with English menu. Also living in a hotel few metro stops away is a good budget idea. Metro ticket for a week costs 10 ´dollars and can be bought from any station the shorter tickets naturally less. You can do all your traveling starting from the airport with this pass, saving you a bunch.

As for sights a must and free (do not pay extras) is Prague Castle. Take a tram (free with pass) to above the castle and walk downhill the long walk through the castle. Old town and lovers bridge are also free and nice to sight see (don't buy or eat there). One of my favorites is a newly restored mansion and wine museum just opposite the Zoo (bus station Zoo) its a free place with beautiful garden. Also the wineyeard around is beatiful. National Museum in the center is worth seeing even if you only go to entrance hall not paying in.

Have nice time Prague at that time is one of the top 3 cities in Europe.

whats up! i wager once you've been issued this kind of visa you should be from Ukraine or Russia or someplace close to :) i recognize from my operating journey (and for the on the spot i artwork on the vacationing employer) efficient you could pass to Prague for some days, yet you more beneficial efficient have any form of lodging confirmation in Prague (reserving confirmation or prepaid lodging voucher), because at present customs officials are giving an especially not uncomplicated time for human beings going with Polish Schengen visas checking their purpose of visit legal duty. also remember to carry each and every of the necessary Documentation proving you'll that convention (e.g. first rate invitation) you would nicely be requested about that once crossing the border (are you able to've faith that :-)))

In addition to the above answer, go to old town square, see the astronomical clock and St Vitus Cathedral. And walk across the Charles Bridge. 2 days is too short of time to visit Prague.
