I was in Northern Italy in December. I'd still like to see the South, especially Palermo. In the North, I wasn't very impressed with much of the countryside. There is a lot of farmland and vineyards with little towns mixed it. These little towns seemed rundown and graffiti-filled. Milan also looked rather dingy and dirty, which really surprised me for the fashion captial of the world. Venice however, was absolutely beautiful! It certainly should not have been missed.

All I have learned about Italy makes me eager for an opportunity to see it first hand. There is so much to see and do. If I won a ticket, I'd go in a heartbeat!!
Now where is my ticket?
I hope you make it to the Orient, Musashi.

I've been there before and of course I'd visit it again if I "win" a flight ticket from Sweden to Italy :)
Great food, amaizing architecture and warm people.
Although I thought there was something wrong with the way I looked when some guys wanted to take a picture of me.

Italy is fantastic, from the stunning renaissance cities like Firenze and Siena, to the faded glory of Rome, from the wonderful scenery of the Cinque Terre to the edgy and down to earth peolpe of Napoli and the Almafi Coast...

Not to mention the beautiful girls on their scooters and the cool dudes wearing shades on the Spanish Steps in the late afternoon ....

And don't even get me started on the football :)

Yes, I love it, but then I love Spain,Croatia, and France too for the same reasons!

The food, the architecture, the general vibe, I have 2 cousins who live in Rome and I love it all, I would go in a heart beat too. I also hope you make it to the Orient.
