We are going to have our honeymoon on May, and we cannot deside between Barcelona or Amsterdam. We would like a place with things to do and see outside, not interested so much in museums ect. We are 30 years old, we like lively places, happy faces, rhythm, coffe. Would like a place romantic but not boring. Kisses, Katerina Greece

By knowing this:

Other than Marco Polo's journey to China and the crusaders' travels to the Holy Land, Europe had little first-hand contact with other parts of the world before the 1400s. However, changes began to occur that sparkled some people's interest in the opportunities connected with exploration....

Now: Describe changes that occured in Europe and set the stage for overseas exploration and EUROPEAN expansion. Describe the impact of the explorers that sailed prior to 1521 under the flags of Spain and Portugal.

My fiancee and I will be going on our honeymoon in July and are travelling through Amsterdam, Paris, London & Dublin. We've arranged cheap methods of travel for everything except for the Amsterdam to Paris leg of the trip. The only VERY important thing in finding transportation is having it be affordable. I know that most places say the train is the way to go, but this is proving incredibly expensive. We only need point to point travel and the eurrail site is saying it will be $353 per person for just Amsterdam to Paris. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. I don't mind spending a reasonable amount of money, it's just $656 total seems like a lot to me.
