I was glad when people we had a difference of opinon on certain matters got in touch with me, trying to get things together. I 'm more than open to get things settled, with the only condition on equal respect and allowance of real freedom of speach. That doen't mean that we can like each other but at least be honest with each other and go on.
Any differences we can solve through private e-mailing and get things not to what they were, but to what they can be. I want to hear everyones position on this. And I mean everyone. Present and past members.I don't try to prove I'm the good and others the bad.
Settling this will only straingthen the section against outside invators. I f you agree, you know where to find me. I never left.
This may discomfort some of my friends that stood their ground on matters of principle, I only ask their indulgence and understanding. You too are needed . Forgive and forget, that is a way to Carpe Diem.
We have to be united even with our differences.

Comintern’s involvement on the creation of a Slav-“Macedonian” identity and a Slav-“Macedonian" nation state in the pre-Yugoslavian era (which led Tito to assign the name of the “People’s Republic of Macedonia” to the former “Vardarska Banovina” which became the Former Yugoslav Republic Of Macedonia – FYROM ) is attested and well known. But what about the position of the Greek Communist party -KKE- of the time? Please provide sources.

Shouldn't we forget about national differences when humanity is concerned? Greeks are proud of their culture and EU citizenship. Wouldn't it be correct to expect of them to uphold human rights? Or at least critisize the forces that do this instead of calling the one raising the question a "troll"? Because, you know, critisizm by the public is a must in a democracy.

Let us try ( again ) to make Greek section a place where everybody is welcome. Let us make new friends and bring more people here. Try to forget personal fights and start asking/answering with dignity. And knowledge. And humor.
I think it is worth to try.
What is your opinion ?

The Greek Research Center on Equality Matters (KETHI) stressed that violence against women is not caused by poverty and unemployment in Greece. Rather, the cause for violence against women is the fact that Greek society does not recognize substantial equality between men and women in every day life.,as they recognize and tolerate the presence of homosexuality in Greek society. Violence against women is easily excused, at least more than any other form of violence is excused, and many times the victim is accused of provoking such violence.. Men learn that it is their right to control the mind, heart and life of their women, and learn to feel security when their companion is dependent and submitted. A completely independent female companion breeds insecurity since it is not her priority to make a man happy. Women themselves learn to be submissive, to be patient with violence, to remain silent and not demanding. As a result, there is a lack of solidarity among women who experience violence that reinforces inactivity against violence.
It has been estimated that 83% of Greek women has suffered from some form of domestic abuse, either psychological or physical; 16% of these women have experienced psychological, physical and sexual violence together.

I am explaining better.Today in the class, even if it is a lesson of foreing language i asked my students what we celebrate on Sunday 28th of october.
The answer i got from a young girl of 12 years was:the liberation of the turks, something which has nothing to do with the celebrations of the 28th of october.
In this case, having already seen some surveys on tv, and similar answers, i would like to know your opinion about it.
The fault is of the educational system, of the teachers, of the modernisation, of the family? Finally of what?Or are we talking about different generations?
I face it as teacher very often, but which is your opinion as greek citizens?
