The answer to your question is the fact, that our neighbors are encouraged by the big powers on their demands. That encourages their aggressiveness ,so while they are at it they go for more. As for our Turkish "friends" on personal level, relations may be different , but if your political authorities think otherwise you follow their propaganda. Personally, i like to see a little "besa" to be convinced.

Look at it from his point of view. Your dog was worrying his chickens. As he had to take the trouble to go and fetch his gun, it would have been easier to shoo your dog away. He probably tried to do so but your ill-trained dog refused to be shooed. When he came to your house to explain, you assaulted him, which is a felony (and also very stupid as he was carrying a gun, which he could have used to protect himself from you). He probably made the remark about your child in the heat of the moment. My advice? Call the police by all means; he will receive a warning for making the threat, but you can expect to face assault charges.

Stop whining. Are you not happy about being conquered?

SSShht... its conspiracy! A global conspiracy against us, the Greeks! We, the Greeks, are angels. The others are bad. We "good". They "bad". They were always trying to conquer us! They... The others...and those global forces that direct them! Because they are jealous of our goats (chew faster), our fat salaries (very fat), our low unemployment (very low), our extremely green environment (almost annoyingly green) and our bouzouko-cacik-kofte-dolmas-pirzola and baklava culture which is O U R S...Let's make a bloody war...! For the "kofte"...!

Yeap! Let's get our lost "kofte" pride back...Pericles would have been so proud if he was around...This would have not been democracy anymore. Oh no! "Koftecracy" at its best.
And btw, did I also mentionned that all this is very relevant to traveling, love and peace as well?

To thumbs down patriots: Was the cacik too strong or the kofte almost burned?

Jealousy and ingrained hate through propaganda as the case of Albanians/Furomians and some Turks

I think you are brain washed and prejudge-mental. No offense.

I am a Turk and although we have a troubled past , the majority of us don't hate you.

As a matter of fact, we see Greeks as people that we can get along with good and we feel you close to ourselves.

Since I observe more hatred and a false act of feeling superior (??) towards Turks from Greeks- I don't want to give links to questions and answers that are asked here and the other sections and point out the opinions of some users here; they all know themselves- could it be the other way around?

Oh, BTW, we are not planning to conquer you, you can relax :)
