I will be visiting Paphos for Christmas staying in a rented villa. Can anyone recommend somewhere for Christmas lunch either restaurants or hotels. Also wanted to know if I needed to book in advance.

Thanks

I hope you will arrive to Pafos a few days earlier, before Christmas. So you will have enough time to have a good look around, have an idea about location of rented property, taste some local food, have a look at a few hotels and restaurants . Only then you can decide where to go for a festive lunch.
Some hotels are preparing gala meals only for their guests, but most of them will be accepting bookings until last minute.

I would get on the phone with some one there and find out in fact if any of the restaurants will be open. I know if I had a restaurant I would want to be closed. At least close very very early.

Christmas is very low key in Greece - I hope it's better for you in Cyprus. Have a great time. Personally it's thge only time of the year I wish I was back in UK!
