A group of my friends and I are hoping to stay in a youth hostel (YHA preferably) after our GCSEs. Are same sex groups, who are all under 18, allowed to stay without an adult? If so, does this apply for the tipi's and camping facilities some of the YHA sites have?
If this is allowed can we book our own private room or are the private rooms only for families?
Many thanks!

I work for a dog rescue centre in Syros (one of the Greek islands) and where possible we re-home dogs to the UK. However, we now have 4 of our dog transport boxes in the London area. Can anyone tell me the cheapest way to get them back to either Syros or Athens. We would even be willing to pay someone 50GBpounds to escort them to Athens if all else fails. Please help. we are a small concern and would rather spend our money on the welfare of the dogs than on plane fares.

I would like it to be reasonably priced, less than $100 a night. There are 4 of us staying in the room. A pool would be nice too, but not necessary. Please tell me the name of any good hotels, or a website where I can find good hotels.
PLEASE HELP
thanks

Am planning a short break with my friends and we are all single. We're therefore looking for your advice on a great city in Europe to visit where there is a good ratio of women to men going out in the clubs and bars. I've been told Prague is good but isn't it just full of blokes on stag nights?

Where do you live and what is life like where you are? Weather conditions...financial cost of living...culture...etc. I've always wondered what it's like to live on the other side of the pond. Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Well i'm currently in college right now so i'm trying to give myself a nice graduation present without spending a ton on travel, I would like to know if anyone knows a cheaper way to get to amesterdam. I found some flights straight there for like $1100 thats a little to steep for me. I heard you can fly to other countries /cities and then take the train in. Well if anyone has any advice that would be great
thanks mike

I am not just looking for links to websites (unless you have personally used them & can recommend them with reasons), I have found dozens.

What I am looking for is suggestions on which cities to visit, which "attractions" to see, money saving ideas, travel tips within the country, restaurant tips, what season would be best, the best hotels, etc.

Also, we are Canadian; it may not make a difference to the answers, but I thought I would mention it.

My parents are having a villa being built in Kas. We are going out in April to set it up and buy furniture. We are concerned that we may not find enough selection to choose from. The builder happens to be the mayors son who is very nice and seems trustworthy. He is going to take us to Antalya to shop.

We live in California and so buying furniture here and shipping all the way to Kas will be too expensive. We want the villa to look turkish but I haven't found many sites online with couches and tables that we like (guess we want some furnishings to look more western european).

Does anyone know of any webites of Furniture stores in southern Turkey on the Med (Turquoise coast), we are in Kas?
